About Us.

“Learn how SOSA is on a mission to champion the mental health and wellbeing of Australian veterans, first responders, and their families.”

Our Story

Who We Are.

Every person who has worn a uniform, either while serving our country within the ADF, or the frontline of our streets, hospitals, and communities, all carry a story that deserves to be heard, honoured, and supported.

For our veterans, separation from service can mean stepping into an unfamiliar world alone. Isolation and no longer being part of a team can leave most in unfamiliar territory. This can also be the same for our police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and emergency workers. All feel the weight of what they witnessed which accumulates quietly, often unseen. Behind every one of them stands a family, absorbing the impact, holding things together, and silently needing support of their own.

Save Our Services Australia – we see all of them.

Through community events, outdoor activities, creative therapies, and social inclusion initiatives, we bring people back together who share a common interest — rebuilding connection, restoring purpose, and reducing the isolation that can make life at times, feel impossible.

Sometimes it’s the simplest moments, sharing a conversation, being part of a team activity, volunteering to support within the community or finding stillness in nature, helps open the door to healing. We create those moments, intentionally and compassionately, for the people who need them most.

Our team has a vast network within the Ex-Service Organisations due to their own service and experiences. We can help guide you to professional services, ensuring veterans, first responders, and their families are connected to the right support, at the right time.

Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens in community.

No veteran. No first responder. No family.  Will not go unnoticed.
